Maters & Taters
A man from NC and a man from WVa were traveling up north
they decided to stop for lunch
When the waitress ask for their order
the NC man replied "I'll have some Maters & Taters"
She looked directly at him and said
"You're from NC, I could tell by your accent"
The WVa man was amazed with this and talked about it long after leaving the restaurant
Finally, the WVa man said to pull over, he had to try this for himself
so, the NC man stopped at the next store
WVa entered the store and told the man behind the counter
"I'll have some Maters & Taters"
The store keeper said
"You're from West Virginia"
He said proudly "Yes I am, how can you tell"
Store keeper said
"This is a Hardware Store!"
