Amish Cinnamon Bread
Day 1 - you receive fermented batter. Place on the counter
Day 1 through 5 - Squeeze bag several times
Day 6 - Add 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup sugar & 1 cup milk. Squeeze several times
Day 7 through 9 - Squeeze bag several times
Day 10 - in a large non-metallic bowl combine with batter 1-cup sugar, 1-cup all-purpose flour, and 1-cup milk.
Mix with wooden or plastic spoon. Pour 4, 1-cup starters into one-gallon ziplock freezer bags.
Give to 4 friends with a copy of these instructions.
To the remaining batter add.
1 cup - canola oil
1 tsp. - vanilla
11/2 tsp. - baking powder
2 cups - all-purpose flour
11/2 tsp. - baking soda
1 tsp. - cinnamon
1 cup - sugar
3 eggs
½ tsp. - salt
½ cup - milk
2 small pkg. - Instant vanilla pudding
1 cup - chopped pecans
In a separate bowl mix 1 tsp. cinnamon with 3 tbls, of sugar. Sprinkle into 5 well greased mini loaf pans. Fill ½ way with batter and bake @ 325 degrees for 45 min. or until toothpick comes out clean.
